In short
There is no account and no sign-up, and nothing you type into a calculator is sent anywhere. The only analytics the site runs is Google Analytics, and only on mortmath.com.
What is not collected
No name, no email address, no financial account details — the calculators never ask for any of them. No advertising, no remarketing, no session-replay, no cross-site tracking. Analytics counts visits and records which page you are on; it does not record what you type, and the numbers never reach the URL, so they cannot end up in a page-view report.
The numbers you enter are held in your browser's memory for the page you are on. They are not transmitted to us or stored on a server, and closing the tab discards them.
What the host sees
Like every website, the host serving these pages (Cloudflare) receives the request itself: an IP address, a user agent, and the URL requested. Providers keep short-lived logs of this kind for security and abuse prevention. That data is not used here to build a profile of you, and this site asks for nothing beyond it.
Analytics
On mortmath.com the site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QY0ME4NK6V) to count visits and to see which pages are useful and which need work. It is not loaded on preview hosts or in development, so nothing you do while the site is being built is measured.
Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies and receives your IP address, the page you viewed and basic browser information. GA4 anonymises IP addresses by default. It is never used for advertising: Google signals and ad personalisation are both switched off, there is no Google Ads account, no remarketing, no audience list, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Blocking or deleting these cookies in your browser does not affect the calculator.

Pages link out to primary sources — Freddie Mac, the U.S. Census Bureau, HUD, the Department of Veterans Affairs. Once you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the reviewed date at the foot of this page changes with it.
